We have gone to Dr. Mathis' office for years and he and his staff have been nothing but professional and friendly. I have no idea why Anonymous would write such a review! Anonymous was not specific about the reasons the child cried, or why they were not "really" friendly nor did they specify the staff's lack of concern for their patients. I go to a dentist to have them take care of my dental issues not for a comedy show! Most children are afraid of any dentist visit anyway because there might be pain. I don't understand the sentence, why it "seems" they do not have a positive attitude? If you had issues with the office why didn't you discuss it with them? Maybe they could have brought out their clown nose and orange hair to make you laugh! I certainly hope anyone reading Anonymous' review will look in between the lines! Dr. Mathis and his staff have always been kind and considerate when it comes to our care. They are reasonably priced too. When you are in business, you cannot please everyone. And the ones you can't please just pray you go out of business! I don't care if it isn't a laugh a minute or heaven forbid the staff may have to take care of someone else before me! I will be calling to make an appointment soon Dr. Mathis! Don't sweat reviews like the one below! It's probably written by one of your competitors! Keep up the good work (and you better have a laugh-a-minute and a Sno Cone for me when I come in! : )
This dental facility provided the worst dental care for my Daughter and I. Dr. Eric Mathis was not very friendly, and even made my child cry. I will never take my child to this dentist again. I think that the customer service was poor also. The staff at this facility are not really nice, and they have a lack of concern for their patients. I have never seen anyone at this dentist office smile. It seems that they do not have positive attitudes. I hope that his practice is discontinued, our community will be better off without them...
I also don't like dentist but Dr. Erik Mathis has seen to my dental needs with care and great chair side manor. I recomend him to anyone who is looking for a great dentist.
Dr.Mathis can be short on patience, But he does a great job., and he has also been kind enough to take payment when no other dentist in Mountain Home will.I think Dr.Mathis is very kind and has a great sense of humor.This is his job and he does take it seriously.Also The staff has always been kind and professional answering questions and being polite and making sure I am comfortable because I have disabilities.
I have not been one to like dentists at all, until I started going to see Dr. Mathis. I have lots of dental work done, and Dr. Mathis is the first dentist to put me at ease while working on my teeth. I personally have never had the sort of treatment that the other reviewer states they had... Everyone at the office is very personable.
