I have been going there for years .I have a few medical problems .I noticed in the past few years that they are over run with patients .They don't keep up on your charts anymore .The doc has out dated info on you about your visit last or if you have to go to him for a follow up after an ER visit ,the info that was given to him is all wrong.You have no way to reach anyone but the reception desk quickly.Order your script refills way ahead of time.I recently called them about hubby"s ultra sound that was taken 2 weeks ago no one bothers to call you back. What if he has a blood clot or something ..the poor guy is limping around. I called a week ago an was rudely told We will call YOU when we hear something .I called back a week later and no return call at all.Its getting bad over there folks .Pay attention to the info that they have as it may not even be relate to you ,navigate your own ship.Problem is that there is no other Dr's office any better ..My mom had the other main one and they NEVER called her back and she was a heart patient .The hospital is not much better ,but it seems they try to improve.If you have anything major wrong with you here run for a border!
I was a client of Dr. Shelley Warr at this clinic for almost a year. The clinic is consistently extremely busy, the office is a labyrinth, and is not kept as well as some of the other clinics in the area. Dr. Shelley Warr was attentive and helpful for the first visit or two with decreasing quality of bedside manner as time progressed. My sister and my partner's experience with Shelley Warr were almost identical based on their accounts. Her husband who is also a Doctor at the same clinic performed a heart-cath proceedure on an immediate family member at BRMC and his bedside manner was very good. The following is really funny though, one of the nurses assistants, a sweet little lady of probably 70+ years, after weighing me asked my height and put me down as having grown a full foot since my last visit. From her perspective I probably looked almost seven feet tall. She was adorable.
Dr. Paden is a great doctor but he is hard to get an appointment with. What exacerbates this issue is how absolutely rude and obnoxious his appointment desk employee is to patients. Lakita, Makita, Nakita??? Not really sure on her name. All I know is she doesn't answer half the time and when she does answer you get put on hold for 10 minutes and then you get her attitude after the hold. Life is too short to deal with unpleasant people like her. Moving on....
I was delighted with the helpful, insightful, balanced, professional care that I received from Dr. Lincoln. His attentive, concerned listening and respectful collaboration with me engendered my trust, as well as my gratitude. Dr. Lincoln is kind, efficient, and intelligent- a doctor I trust with both basic care and complex conditions. We are fortunate to have a man of this caliber and integrity in our region.
There is no reason a standard for any medical office should be to have all calls go to voicemail and then calls returned. Getting a returned call is irrelevant to the fact patients made time in their day to call your clinic and expect to talk to someone, not take more time in their day to wait a response.
We were NP's, new to the area, looking for family practice, we made appointments elsewhere.
