My experience with this hospital was a positive one. I was transported to the ER by ambulance and from the time I arrived until I was released 3 days later I received excellent care. They were quick to diagnose my illness and were very responsive to any requests I has. I can't say that I enjoyed my hospital experience but if I had to be in the hospital this one was good. I can especially appreciate it now that I am staying with my sister in another hospital in Fayetteville that is so grossly understaffed as to be dangerous for their patients. Keep up the good work Baxter Regional.
I should have left a review sooner, had i known. I had ankle repair surgery in Feb 2016. Surgery started at 5 AM I was released at 10 AM I wasn't recovered from the anesthesia,I felt a little dopey. My specialist doctor ( I'm happy with) came in and asked how are you doing, I said fine, but you tell me. He says"Evert thing went great and they're releasing you" I say it's 10 AM He said "they don't want to keep you all day". Nurse comes in with a walker I say I can't use that flimsy thing. She said "it will hold you" I'm 6'180 lb I proceed to bend it on trying to stand. I asked my wife to get my own walker from the car. Shouldn't need your own equipment to check out. Disappointed I was sent home still feeling drugged. According to my wife, I passed out on the way home.I feel that ,with my surgery over and I was still breathing = Make Room for another.
If I could give them 0 stars I would! While I was having seizure after seizure the ambulance was called. The EMT had the nerve to tell me I was faking. When we arrived at the hospital, they didn't check my vitals or anything the doctor came in said, "you're fine I don't want to see you again and I'm not checking you in. Go wait in the lobby for a ride." They treated me like I didn't matter. I'm a wife and mother of 2. I certainly matter. I went to West plains and They took the time to run tests and figure out what was wrong with me. It's sad for those who's only choice is Baxter.
U CANT GET THE NUMBER TO WORK, ALWAYS BUSY SIGNAL? WHY ITS A HOSP? ISNT IT, VERY FRUSTRATING, WHEN TRYING TO FIND OUT INFO ON FAMILY
After waiting 2 hours in the E.R. waiting room with my very sick son, with only 2 other people (one showed up after us) we finally got into a room where we waited an hour and a half to be seen. After we finally were seen we were told to go to the window to get my son's school excuse (for the next couple of day's) where we waited more than 10 minutes to get it just to be told to leave by the woman that checks you into the E.R which still only had one person in the room and another checking in. I left without the excuse since the woman didn't even turn around to tell me to leave just told us to leave while she sat there and the other person behind the desk was doing nothing. I called this morning was hung up on twice when I called back the THIRD time I finally got to talk to a nurse told her my son's name and what happend, just for her to be rude and see what she could do to still as of yet not get a call back. This is not the first, second or even third time I've had problems with this hospital. Rude staff, lazy staff and No one to call to get their employees (who make a lot of money doing what they do, which I appreciate what they do since my family all work in the medical feild) to act and do what they are supposed to. Hate this hospital!
