Need to clean up flood debri. Once cleaned up I would give it 5 stars.

We've camped here many times. The causeway is under water right now, but we just stayed here before the flooding. As always, we enjoyed a lovely and peaceful time. Jim is always so welcoming, and the facilities are clean as usual. We look forward to being able to get back on the island!!

Nice little place except they like to give tickets when not due for one. Oh well. Lake was up there was no sign got a 100 ticket

If you like to kayak and fish like me, then you might want to look elsewhere until Cranfield gets the boat ramp and swimming area re-opened. They are still cleaning up and making repairs from the spring flooding. You can not get directly to the water from the tent sites or most of the rv sites as they are high up on a hill and there are cliffs. The access roads that lead to the ramp and the swim area are all closed. Thus, four stars instead of five.

The park is beautiful. There were lots of people but it was still very quiet and peaceful. The spots are spread out so you're not on top of one another. It was clean with many paths to walk on. The beach was still closed but I am confident they will clear the debris at the end of the season for next year.

Cranfield is a really nice park with good views of the lake. The rv sites looked to be nearly filled up when I was there, but the three tent sites were all available. The first tent site is close to a water spigot. The other tent sites you have to walk to get to the water, so bring your own water bottles if you plan to use a tent site. The tent sites have a spectacular view of the sunset and the night time sky, so bring a good chair, sit back, and relax.
