We do not have low income properties, but we do deal with HUD, and HUD does have standards. We have tenants that have been staying with us, without government assistance, for 5, 10, and 15 years (at market prices). They could live wherever they like, and they choose to stay with us.
Trust and believe this place is a business, if you ever fall on a hardship, you will be PUT OUT. The apartments are nice but the mangers are (good cop and bad cop) one will tell you yes we will work with you. While the other will since you out the door. If your rent is late not a month behind but late in the same month get ready for a notice and harassing texts. Telling you she want her money NOW. No matter what verbal agreement you have with her partner. So heads up don't lose your job and start another you wouldn't have time you better find a new place in time for your income to get back on track
Hold on now I see some lies. They maybe about their money but they take care of the units I never one time had a problem with them fixing ANYTHING. The apartment are huge well the Paige apartment and they change the air filter ever month so don't lie on them
Don't expect much after you move in. Aaron is useless. Judy will get things taken care of, if it's major enough. A lot of druggies in the apartments, but not the worse in town. Price plan bit high for what they offer. They are both pretty nice, but Judy is the heart of the company. And arron likes 2 fib about things. Durring the summer months expect ant issues all summer...
We have 92 apartments that we manage, several duplexes, and a couple dozen houses- around 130 units. We have been doing this long enough to know that our financial state (a key factor of any BUSINESS), is better when people move in and stay. Tenants moving in and out and in and out, just costs money. We know that a pleasant, boring, relationship between tenant and landlord is a sign that things are going well, and we want that for everyone, knowing that maintenance and communication are big factors in that relationship.
5 stars, just because I'm the manager at Paige Properties. Call us and talk to us. We are a family owned and run business in a small town. Are we perfect? No. Do we make mistakes? Yes. Do we have dissatisfied customers? Absolutely. I would suggest though, that if these few reviews were characteristic of sum total of our business dealings, we would no longer be in business in our town of 12,000.

Finally, we don't do tenant reviews, and that may be a disservice to everyone reading these reviews. We've evicted a lot of people, for a lot of reasons. We've been lied to, stolen from, vandalized, cussed out, and blamed for problems that aren't remotely ours. If all our tenants were like that, we'd go back to teaching- but they aren't. Most adults behave as adults, pay their bills, live their lives, and take responsibility for their actions. That, and the Grace of God, are why we're still in business.
